Toubkal (13,671 ft) is the highest peak in North Africa and one of the most accessible treks in the world. In 2 days, you leave Marrakech, climb to the Toubkal refuge (10,522 ft) on day one, tackle the summit at dawn on day two to admire the sunrise over the Sahara, then descend. A legendary trek, accessible to anyone in good shape.
Pickup at 7am at your hotel. Transfer to Imlil (1h30, 5,709 ft). Meet the mule team. 5-6h trek through the Azzaden valley, then steep climb to the Toubkal refuge (10,522 ft). Berber dinner and overnight in dorm or tent.
Wake at 4:30am. Headlamp departure for the summit. 3-4h ascent in snow and scree. Spectacular sunrise at the summit (13,671 ft). Descent to refuge (2h), lunch, then return to Imlil. Transfer to Marrakech. Arrival around 6pm.
