Merzouga · Erg Chebbi — Maroc
One of Morocco's finest experiences: from Marrakech over the High Atlas through the Dadès and Roses valleys and the Todra Gorge to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, with a night in a Berber desert camp.
Three days of total immersion, from the red medina of Marrakech to the golden sands of Erg Chebbi. You will cross the Tichka Pass (2,260 m), skirt the southern palm oases, sleep in the Dadès gorges, then trek on foot and by camel up the dunes of Merzouga. Expect pisé villages, thousand-year-old kasbahs, encounters with nomad families, shared mint tea and a night in a Berber camp, lulled by the silence of the desert. The return follows the Valley of Roses and the Atlas range. A private, comfortable circuit with a driver-guide born in the South.
7am pick-up from your accommodation. Cross the Tichka Pass, visit the Aït Ben Haddou ksar (UNESCO), photo stop in Ouarzazate and its film studios, then sunset in the Dadès Gorges. Dinner and night in a charming hotel.

Early rise for sunrise on the dunes, Berber breakfast, return via Rissani, Errachidia and the Valley of Roses (Kelaât M'Gouna). Arrival in Marrakech in late afternoon.
