This gentle day mixes easy walking (3-4 km, 200 m of elevation), pisé villages (Imlil, Armed, Tizi Oussem), cultivated terraces of barley and walnut, and thousand-year-old irrigation canals (seguia). Sharing mint tea with a Berber family, traditional lunch (chicken tagine with preserved lemons, Moroccan salad). View of snow-capped Toubkal from October to May. Ideal for a first family discovery of the Atlas, accessible to anyone in good health, with no technical difficulty.
9am departure, arrival at Imlil (1,740 m). Easy walk to Armed, tea at a local home, traditional terrace lunch, return via the seguias. Back in Marrakech around 5pm.
