At Aït Ben Haddou, a pisé fortified ksar listed by UNESCO since 1987, you walk the covered alleys, climb the central kasbah for a panoramic view of the wadi and oasis. Visit the Atlas film studios (Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Game of Thrones) and the Taourirt kasbah, former stronghold of pacha el-Glaoui. Traditional lunch in Ouarzazate, return via the same pass at the end of the day, with multiple photo stops.
