Just 30 minutes from Marrakech, the white desert of Agafay offers the illusion of the Sahara without the long hours of driving. This evening begins with a sunset over the stony hills, followed by a camel ride at dusk. On arrival at the Berber tent camp, mint tea and dates welcome you. The traditional dinner (harira, lamb tagine with prunes, royal couscous, milk pastilla, mint tea and pastries) is served in the restaurant tent or open-air, accompanied by a Gnawa music show, dancers and fire jugglers. Stargazing far from light pollution, before returning to Marrakech around 11pm.
Late afternoon departure (5pm in winter, 6pm in summer). Sunset, camel ride, camp welcome, tea and dates, dinner-show, stargazing. Return to Marrakech around 11pm.
