Discover the oldest of Morocco's imperial cities. Founded in 789, Fez is home to the world's largest pedestrian medina, the Al Quaraouiyine university (859, oldest in the world) and its famous tanneries. A few kilometers away, the Roman ruins of Volubilis (UNESCO) and Meknes, one of the most beautiful imperial cities.

## Day-by-day itinerary

### Day 1 — Day 1 — Fez → Volubilis → Meknes → Fez

Departure 8am from your hotel. Drive to Volubilis (1h30), guided tour of the Roman site (2h). Continue to Meknes (30 min), visit: Bab Mansour, El-Hedim square, Moulay Ismaïl mausoleum. Lunch. Return to Fez late afternoon, discovery of the medina, tanneries, souks.
